"Why is it so hard to find a part-time job?!" ________(y/n) ranted to herself out loud as she walked back home after a trip to the grocery shop. While getting groceries, she had also been looking for a part-time job in the shop; but to no avail. It seemed pointless since all the jobs around the area seemed to be taken by teenagers who were pretty much broke like she was. "There has to be a job SOMEWHERE I could do... I'd pretty much do ANY job right now..."

"Any job?" a voice asked out of nowhere. _______(y/n) turned to see a young boy with blonde hair and golden eyes. A lock of hair fell on his forehead, which he didn't seemed to be bothered by. He wore a red and white robe which had a very... princely or even godly air about it.

"Uhh...Yeah? I doubt a kid your age is going to get me one are you?..." ________(y/n) questioned suspiciously, still a bit surprise from where the boy came from. She could've sworn that she didn't hear any footsteps behind her just a minute ago.

"Well, actually, I CAN offer you a job. There's a day care centre just at the corner of that street. They are looking for a part-time teacher there. You will have to live in the day care as long as you work there however you will be provided a room free of rent and separate from the children. Here's a flyer. You will have to decide now or I will offer this chance to someone else."

_________(y/n) was dumbfounded at how she had, conveniently, found someone who was going to give her a job. Sure it was a kid giving her advice but she was getting desperate. And a place to stay? FREE OF RENT? As unreal as it was she wanted to check out if the place really existed. And if it did, God must really have been answering her prayers.

"Alright, I'll do it. As long as you show me proof of what everything you said is true." _________(y/n) finally answered as the young boy smirked. He pulled out a large, violet sapphire from the back of his pocket. The gem began to glow and a bright light shot out of it. This light somehow created a sort of mist with a large tunnel within it to make it look like a portal. Before ________(y/n) could even mutter a word of protest she felt herself sucked into the portal while the young boy practically waltzed into it.

________(y/n) felt herself stumbling forward slightly before managing to catch herself from tripping. The boy skipped down beside her, the gem in his hand losing it's glow as the portal closed. He stuffed the stone back into his pocket and snickered as ________(y/n)stared in disbelief at the building before them. 'It's not a very large building since it's only three stories high, but the design of it looks as if it was designed by the builders of Mount Olympus itself', ________(y/n) thought.

"Well you're not wrong. Most of the builders WERE the same group which built Mount Olympus. Although I was the one who had to give them the temporary power to do so." the boy stated as if reading ________(y/n)'s mind. "Before you ask no I cannot read people's minds. I was pretty much asked the same question countless of times before since the builders design don't really change even after all these centuries." he spoke up once more before ________(y/n) could ask.

"Who exactly are you?...And what EXACTLY have I gotten myself into?..." she questioned further, the boy shrugged.

"Fine, I'll tell you. You have just been hired to work in a day-care. But not any ordinary day-care; a day-care for GODS. All the children, including the teacher, are gods with the exception of a human girl," the boy said as he walked behind one of the pillars of the entrance. A middle-aged man with the same gold eyes and blonde hair walked out in place of the boy. "I am Zeus, the principal of this little day-care."

________(y/n) wouldn't have believed the man if she hadn't just experienced the portal just a moment ago. It made sense. If what he said WAS true, it would explain everything from the encounter with the boy till now. But another question that she hadn't been answered; why her?

"The teacher, you would say, has a problem with handling children. He knows how to educate them but he has a hard time UNDERSTANDING them. I myself have very little knowledge in children behaviour so I concluded that we would perhaps need a human who would care for them. Another reason why we needed a human would be because none of the gods wanted to help with the day-care, saying that it was a waste of my power to make something so foolish." Zeus explained, ________(y/n) was seriously doubting him when he said he couldn't read minds. Zeus tossed something to ________(y/n)which she (miraculously) managed to catch even without him warning her. It was a garnet gemstone which was slightly smaller than the violet sapphire that Zeus had.

"As you can see the stone can transport you with a portal to anywhere you please. However, your stone has been set so that if you even THINK about running away from your job at the day-care you will then be automatically sent back here and the stone will be unable to be used for the rest of the day. The day-care is also surrounded by a barrier that keeps it invisible from humans. You also can't be out from the barrier for more than a day." Zeus smiled as ________(y/n) still seemed to be petrified in shock.

"Well then, we'll be looking forward to your work here."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ZEUS YOU EVIL BASTARD.
Things that I didn't put into Zeus' dialogue cause it was really long and I had to cut it short:

1) If you're wondering how your family was going react to you working and living somewhere else which is unknown to them Zeus managed to find a way to convince them that you were going to be okay by sending them a letter (which he forged. He really wanted you to be a teacher in the day care for a long time because as the creepy, magical, stalker he was he had known everything about you. Especially the part that you wanted the job.)

2) He transferred all your belongings into your new room even before you said yes to the agreement

3) HE HAD ALWAYS EXPECTED YOU TO SAY YES TO THE OFFER SO HE PREPARED EVERYTHING EVEN BEFORE TALKING TO YOU. EVEN IF YOU DID SAY NO HE WOULD DRAG YOU INTO THE JOB ANYWAY (CAUSE LIKE I SAID, EVIL BASTARD AND A CONTROL FREAK)

4) HE WAS PURPOSELY IN HIS KID FORM AT YOUR FIRST MEETING BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO LOOK LIKE A CREEPY OLD GUY FOLLOWING YOU AND THOUGHT THAT IF HE WAS IN HIS KAWAII DESU FORM YOU WOULD DEFINITELY SAY YES AND TRUST HIM MORE (HE'S A GOD I KNOW HE'S CONFUSING)

5) The stone you have. It is basically attached to your soul now. If you break it, it'll get fixed again. If you throw it away, too bad it'll find you and hunt you down. Even if you did finally manage to permanently get rid of it that would serve as a disadvantage for you since that means you will not be able to leave the day care forever since it's your teleporting device. It's also something that will actually make you like a god. You are immortal and you will never age now. This is because Zeus is expecting you to take care of these kids for as long as they live (even after their physical bodies aren't like a child's anymore). A permanent guardian. So you are as immortal as any of them but you don't have any powers. Yes Zeus is that evil.

6) You also lost your groceries while being transported (sorry dude).
